Racine becomes Racinette
Racinette is Racine, reimagined.
We wanted something more relaxed, more vibrant.
A place where you can drop in any time of day — to eat something tasty, enjoy a drink, take a break.
We’re open on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 am to 7 pm, and on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 am to 9 pm — all day long.
Mornings might be a coffee and a little treat.
Late morning? Maybe oysters and a glass of white.
Lunchtime is always a highlight — starters, mains and desserts, all carefully cooked with fresh, seasonal and local ingredients.
We recommend booking if you’re coming for lunch.
In the afternoon, we keep serving — sweet or savoury, or both if that’s what you’re after.
We want you to feel at home here — whether you live nearby or you’re just passing through, whether you’re flying solo, with your partner, or with your whole tribe (kids and dogs welcome).

about us
We’re Laurence and Lionel (and Billie).
Before Racinette, there was Racine. And before Racine — years of learning, travel, and figuring things out.
Laurence studied design and hospitality. She’s worked in places where care and attention — to people, to the atmosphere, to the plate — all mattered.
Lionel started out as a craftsman, then found his way into the kitchen. He trained in Michelin-starred restaurants in Brussels, where he developed a love for well-sourced ingredients and clean, generous cooking.
We landed in the Gers a few years ago — first in Tillac, then Lectoure. That’s where we opened Racine.
We built a restaurant that felt true to us: simple, honest, delicious.
Racine grew, and we were lucky to find a community of curious, kind, loyal guests.
Now with Racinette, we’re starting a new chapter.
Same values, same care — just a way of working and welcoming that fits who we are today.
